Sweet toast with cream

INGREDIENTS
6 bread slices
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 water
1 cup dry fruits (cashews, raisin, almonds etc)
1 1/2 cup cream
1/2 cup curd
1/2 cup milkmaid
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp sugar

INSTRUCTIONS
1- Toast the cread slices till crisp. Let them cool. Cut each slice into two parts.
2- Boil sugar and water in a pan for about 10 minutes. Take it off the flame and let it cool at room temprature.
3- soak the bread slices in sugar syrup. Keep them on a flat surface and let it soak.
4-Mix cream, curd, milkmaid, sugar and cardamom powder in a bowl.
5-While serving, put the slices in a bowl or plate. Add the cream mixture on top and then add the dry fruits.
Serve hot.

Cupcake Shots

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 Cup of all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS
1-Preheat the oven at 180° C.
2- Mix all purpose flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Make sure there are no lumps as cocoa has lumps in it.
3- Mix Water and vinegar in another bowl. Do not over mix.
4- Add the water and vinegar mixture to the dry ingredients. Add oil and vanilla extract and mix well. Do not over mix.
5-Line a mini muffin mould or sillicon mini cupcake moulds. Pour the batter in them.
6-Bake for 15-20 minutes on top rack of the oven. Or till the toothpick comes out clean. Place on cooling rack and ice as you wish. Just dusting icing sugar is suggested.
DO NOT ICE BEFORE THE CUPCAKE COOLS DOWN, icing will melt if done so.

Orange flavoured cream with orange jelly

INGREDIENTS
2 packet orange jelly mix
2 cups fresh cream
1 cup curd
1 tsp orange extract
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup sugar

INSTRUCTION
1- Take 2 packets of orange jelly and make as instructed on the packet, seperately.
Pour one batch in cups and leave to set at room temprature. Pour another in a big bowl and let it set at room temprature.
2- Beat fresh cream in a bowl till thick and fluffy. Add curd and sugar to it and beat. Keep in fridge to chill.
3- Mash the jelly set in a big bowl. Add the jelly mash to the cream mixture and add orange extract and beat. Add orange juice. Mix well. Pour on top of the set jelly in cups and keep in fridge to set. 
Top with some tutty-fruity.





Served cold.
Your orange treat is ready :D

Eggless Brownie

Eggless Brownie


INGREDIENTS

100 gms Butter

1/2 cup all purpose flour 

1/2 cup cocoa powder
3/4 Castor sugar

1 tsp Baking powder
1/2 cup curd
3 tsp coffee mixed properly in a few drops of water
50 gms dark chocolate
1 tsp vanilla essence

1 tbsp Icing sugar


INSTRUCTIONS

1-Preheat the oven to 180° celsius.
2-Melt butter in a pan. Mix butter and sugar really well. Add curd,dark chocolate and coffee. Then add plain flour, baking powder and cocoa powder. Mix well slowly till the batter reaches a thick consistency.
3- Grease the baking pan with butter and pour the brownie mixture in it. Bake for 40 minutes and check. If the crust is hard and the sides are off the tin, then its ready. If not, cook for some minutes more.
4- Let it cool and dust icing sugar on it. Top with your choice of topping. Tastes best with Vanilla ice-cream though!

JELLY AND CUSTARD CHEAT

EASY TO MAKE CHRISTMAS CHEAT :p

JELLY AND CUSTARD WITH FRUIT CAKE :D

INGREDIENT :-
Serves 6 cups
1 Packet ready to make wiekfield jelly mix
2 tbsp Custard powder
2 tbsp sugar
500ml milk
1 packet fruit cake

INSTRUCTION :-
1- Use the jelly mix to prepare jelly. Boil 500ml of water. In another bowl mix the jelly mixture and pre-mix. Add the boiling water to it and stir well to dissolve the lumps. Now pour into glasses and keep aside to set at room temprature.
2- After the jelly is set. Put the fruit cake on top of it.
3- In a bowl mix 3 tbsp of custard powder with 125ml of milk to make a thick custard paste. Boil 375ml of milk with 2 tbsp of sugar. After the milk reaches boiling point, add the custard paste and cook for 1-2 minutes, till the mixture is thick.
4- Pour the custard mix in the cup after the jelly has set. And keep in the fridge to set for an hour. Serve cold.
Your jelly and custard with fruit cake is ready :D



JELLY AND CUSTARD IN A CUP

INGREDIENTS :- 
Serves 6 cups

For custard :-
500ml Milk
3 tbsp Custard powder
2 tbsp powdered Sugar

For jelly :-
4 cups strawberry juice
1/2 cup strawberry crush
1 1/2 tsp gelletin

INSTRUCTIONS :-
 1- Heat strawberry juice and strawberry crush in a pan for 1-2 mimutes on low flame. Soak gellitin in warm water. Add the soaked gellitin to the strawberry mix. Pour in plastic glasses and keep aside to cool at room temprature.
2- Mix 3 tbsp of custard powder in 125ml of milk. And heat the rest 375ml of milk in a pan with 2 tbsp powdered sugar. When the milk reaches boiling point, turn off the heat. Add the custard mixture to it and cook for another 2 minutes till thick. 
3- After the jelly is set properly, add the custard on top. And keep in the fridge to set for 1-2 hours.
Your jelly and custard in a cup is ready :D





CHRISTMAS CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH WHITE ICING AND COCOA DUST

INGREDIENTS

For chocolate cake :-
2 cups white sugar
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

For icing :-
5 egg whites
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 1/2 cup whipped cream
Cocoa powder for topping

INSTRUCTIONS

1- Preheat oven to 180° C. Grease and flour cake tin.
2- In a large bowl, stir together the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla, mix for 2 minutes on medium speed of mixer. Batter will be thin. Pour evenly into the prepared pan.
3-Bake 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until the cake tests done with a toothpick. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
4- Beat egg whites in a large bowl. Add sugar to it. Then add the whipped cream. Put the icing on the cake once the cake cools down. Dust cocoa powder on top of it. Decorate with your choice of topping.
